Twitter

Twitter have unveiled a new feature designed to provide more context to tweets that have been embedded on websites. Now, you will be able to see a collection of “Related Headlines” which provide more context to the tweet:

This will allow users to easily see the related stories and to enhance the information and content provided on Twitter. Also if you contribute by writing your own content and embedding the tweet your article will be added to the feed.

LinkedIn

Recently, LinkedIn lowered its joining age from 18 to 13 and they have now introduced university pages in an effort to grow the student base on the site. University pages allow students to follow universities they like or would like to attend and see notable alumni.

LinkedIn has provided a video that explains their reason for creating this new education integration. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWp6AN00D_c

This means that the demographic on LinkedIn will now start to develop into a younger audience, meaning it might be time to reconsider your marketing approach to the side, if they are your target market.

Google +

Google + has developed a translate tool for its site to help people access as much content as possible. By simply pressing a button Google + will translate the content and show it next to the original:
