Hello, my name is Matt Dean and I am currently doing an internship with Shake Social. I recently graduated from the University of Sunderland with a degree in Broadcast Media Production. Since graduating, I’ve been focusing on gaining experience in media; I was interested in this internship because I want to gain as much experience as I can, and get a better insight into the social media side of business. I also currently work part-time for a betting company called BDStadia; this work includes taking bets before kick off at football grounds around England.

Whilst studying at university, I gained a lot of experience through group production work and creating videos such as short dramas, documentaries, music videos and experimental videos. I’ve gained experience in various roles during these productions, such as producer, director and camera operator. This has made me a lot more confident in video and media production.

I have a passion for travel, and my dream is to document my travels using video to share it with the world.
