If you’re anything like us – ie. Instagram addicts managing multiple accounts – then you’ll be as pleased as we are about Instagram’s latest change. It’s been their most asked-for upgrade so it’s about time really!

Instagram’s new feature now allows you to add up to 5 accounts, so you’re able to quickly switch between these to make managing your separate accounts incredibly easy. It enables you to manage your accounts without having to individually log in and out every time. To add multiple accounts simply go to your options, and in the drop down menu select ‘Add Account’, you can then enter all the details for the accounts you wish to have regular access to:

Switching between these accounts is easy: simply go to your profile and click on your username at the top of the screen. It will then display all of the accounts you have signed in to, with you being able to select the one you wish to manage. This will no doubt make the use of Instagram a lot better for business and individuals that need to manage more than one account and post numerous different types of content.

It also means we’re likely to see more mistakes. Easy account switching means – like with Twitter – it’s more important than ever to double check which account you’re using so as not to confuse your personal posts with your professional ones. How long before a brand ‘accidentally’ posts a picture of their dinner / their night out / their…..?!
