With only 44% of businesses surviving the first 5 years of trading, we’re thrilled to be celebrating our 5th birthday this month, as the longest established social media agency in the region.
We have been helping companies, both locally and nationally, manage their social media campaigns since October 2010. Set up by Kate Tyler, we recently moved to the Creative Quarter, and this year have taken on 3 graduate trainees, all from Nottingham University, so keeping talent in the city.
We have also achieved some fantastic results. Most notably, the #Nottinghamrocks campaign, which took Twitter by storm and became the number one trending topic in the UK, and number three worldwide! “With almost 16,000 tweets in just one day using the hashtag we created, it really did raise the profile of Nottingham and galvanised local pride in our great city”, said Kate.
We have also been instrumental in working with the Federation of Small Businesses to promote Small Business Saturday, showcasing everything that is happening in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. This year they have been selected as one of the Small Business 100 and have created the official UK social media guide for them too.
