Earlier this month we commissioned the above for a secret project (we won’t reveal our plan just yet, but keep your eyes peeled).
We know we’re not alone in thinking they’re fab, and if you’re wondering who we have to thank for them, it’s the incredibly talented Nottingham-based crafter Lucie Pockets.
A self-described mother of two, lover of one and feeder of cat, Lucie learned to sew at age 11 and now puts her skills to good use, creating unique (and beautiful) handmade items out of repurposed vintage materials: from lovely bags, purses and other accessories, to sock animals and felt dolls. Each and every one of her crafts is completely individual– but you can get a flavour of them in the portfolio on the Lucie Pockets site.
Desperate for some icons of your own? You can get in touch to enquire about commissions on the Lucie Pockets site, too.
Finally, for the social-media-minded amongst you (and hopefully that’s everyone), you can follow Lucie Pockets on Twitter and Facebook.
Thanks again, Lucie, for the fantastic icons!
