Being a Dad isn’t always easy. Kids can be tough and involve a lot of long, sleepless nights. In the olden days there were few places that Dad’s could vent their frustrations, sure they could go to the pub on a Friday but conversations there tend more towards beer and football and beer.

But now we live in the digital era, a time when sharing is almost compulsory and our dear Dad’s can share their fatherly frustrations. And where better to do this than on the largest micro-blogging site in the world? Yes, Twitter is home to many, many parents sharing the journey of parenthood, tweeting about the highs and lows.

To celebrate Father’s Day and our Dad’s we’ve sourced some of the best Dad tweets for your viewing pleasure.

@HowtobeaDad: What’s the difference between a zombie and a father of a newborn? Not much at this point.

@DaddysiCharge: Rule #679 of being a parent: Do not serve rice the day you clean the kitchen floors.

@RealDMK: “Daddy, I want to watch Dora.” Sweetie this is Dora. It’s the one where she plays an NBA basketball game against the Brooklyn Nets

@advodude: Having kids is not for everyone, but if you like awesome science experiments that last decades, it’s kind of cool.

@designerdaddy: If Spider-Man took as long to put on his costume as JJ takes to put on his Spidey PJs, we’d all be dead now.

@AndyHerald: My 4yo son asked if he could earn a cat. I said yes, first you need to grow up, get a job, move out and then he can have a cat. He said YAY!

@jasonmgood: Always be the seeker in hide & seek. It’s 30 second of peace. I tweeted that while “counting.”

@SuburbanSnaps: All my friends surprising their kids with Disney trips make me feel bad because my kid’s surprises mostly involve ambush booster shots.
